Terms
Last updated 15 October 2026These cover using this site and joining the waitlist. Terms for buying a guide are included so you can read them before anything goes on sale.
Who you are dealing with
Globelanded is operated by Danielius Šidlovskij, based in Sweden. Contact: [email protected].
What this site is, and is not
Globelanded publishes general information about moving between countries. It is not legal, tax or immigration advice, and reading it does not create a professional relationship of any kind.
Every factual claim is checked against the relevant authority and carries the date it was checked. Rules change, processing times change, and individual circumstances differ enormously. Confirm anything that affects your own case with the authority that decides it before you act on it.
The waitlist
Joining is free and commits you to nothing. You get an email when the guide for your country is ready. You can leave at any time by replying to any email and asking.
No date is promised for any guide. The order countries are written in depends on what people ask for, and may change.
Buying a guide
When guides go on sale, these terms apply:
- A guide is a one-off purchase, not a subscription. You are not charged again.
- You get a licence to use it yourself. Please do not republish it, resell it, or share your copy publicly.
- Updates to a guide you have bought are included for as long as that guide is maintained.
Refunds and your right to withdraw
As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content without giving a reason.
That right can be waived, but only if you expressly agree to immediate access and acknowledge that you lose the right by doing so. If a checkout ever asks you to tick such a box, ticking it is your choice, and declining simply means you keep the full 14 days.
Separately from any of that: if a guide is not useful to you, say so and you get your money back. That promise is simpler than the law requires, and it is meant to be.
Liability
The guides are prepared carefully and checked against official sources, but they cannot account for every situation and they are not a substitute for the authority that makes the decision in your case. To the extent the law allows, Globelanded is not liable for losses arising from decisions you make based on them. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Law
Swedish law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the law of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim there.
