Privacy

Last updated 15 October 2026

This explains what Globelanded does with your personal data. It is written in plain language on purpose.

Who is responsible

Globelanded is operated by Danielius Šidlovskij, based in Sweden. For anything in this notice, email [email protected].

What is collected, and why

WhatWhyLegal basis
Your email addressTo tell you when the guide you asked about is readyYour consent
The country you selectedTo know which guide to send you, and to decide which country is written nextYour consent
Anything you write in a replyTo answer you, and to improve the guidesYour consent

Nothing else is collected. There is no analytics on this site, no advertising, and no tracking cookies.

Who else handles it

Three services are involved in getting your message to me. All three are based in the United States, so your data leaves the EU when you submit the form.

What stays on your device

The Sweden guide remembers which steps you have ticked off. That is stored in your own browser and never sent anywhere. Clear your browser data and it is gone.

How long it is kept

Your email address is kept until you ask for it to be removed, or until the project stops, whichever comes first. There is no automatic deletion schedule.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, object to its use, or withdraw your consent. The easiest way to do any of these is to reply to any email from Globelanded, or write to [email protected]. There is no cost and no form to fill in.

If you are not satisfied with how a request is handled, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY, or to the data protection authority in your own country.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and no data is knowingly collected from them.
